About Vickie

Hi, I’m Vickie.
I’ve spent more than 30 years working in administration and executive support. That’s a lot of calendars, meetings, deadlines, documents, emails and last-minute changes. But more importantly, it’s a lot of experience learning what good support really looks like.
I’ve supported CEOs, senior executives and leadership teams across a range of organisations and industries. Along the way, I’ve learnt that good support is about much more than being organised. It’s about understanding what someone needs, knowing what matters, using your judgement and being someone they can rely on.
I’m naturally organised, calm when things get busy and comfortable managing competing priorities. I’m happy to ask questions when I need to, but I’m also someone who will have a look, work things out and find a way forward. Trust is important to me too. I take confidentiality seriously, communicate openly and care about doing things properly.
After many years working for organisations, I decided it was time to do things a little differently. I wanted to use the experience I’ve built up, continue doing work I genuinely enjoy and have more flexibility in how I work. That’s how Vickie Aiton came about.
Today, I provide Small Business Support, Executive Assistant Support, Business Documentation and Recruitment Support to executives, business owners and small businesses. My approach is simple: understand what you need, take responsibility for it and get on with it.
Family is a big part of my life. I’m a wife, mum and dog mum, and when I’m not working, I enjoy playing piano, reading a good book, watching a great basketball game and seeing live musical theatre. I believe work is important, but it’s also only one part of life. I wanted to build Vickie Aiton in a way that allows me to do work I enjoy and do it well, while still making room for family and the things I enjoy.
If you’d like to talk about how I can support you, get in touch.
